good huh?

edit:

I've just done a search, I stand corrected, she was the first person to be awarded the nobel prize twice and in two different fields of science, physics and chemistry

here i've copied this for you from wiki

in 1895 Marie and Pierre Curie married. 1898 They discovered Thorium, Polonium, and Radium, after chemically extracting uranium from ore. These isotopes were more active then pure Uranium. They were awarded the nobel prize for physics in 1903. In 1906 Pierre Curie was killed in an accident. In 1910 the Curie was chosen as the basic unit measure of radioactivity by the Radiology Congress this in Pierre's honor. Marie went on to win her own Nobel prizes in chemistry for both discoveries of Polonium and Radium. She passed on in July of 1934 from pernicious anemia, this being thought to be caused by her years working around highly radioactive materials.
