Very good question. I wish to thank you for asking it. You see that is kinda what drove the early pioneers in PC Programming, now that question says it all. How can I play a game for free on My Computer. There use to be tons of them, written in DOS. But on a Windows/Apple Machine you are not permitted to use their Proprietary Code, so it is illegal to make a free game with MS/Apple code.
You can and are encouraged to write programs in Linux,it is legal, and you are helping others. And yes, there are alot of Free Games on Linux.
Get Ubuntu or gnewsense or whatever is still free.

I know that www.msn.com has Wheel of Fortune online for free that you can play but I'm not sure about Family Feud.
