my roommate is accessing net frm my pc alwayas in my absence and also when i am present. is there any soft to block net as i wish, i am allowing him to access my pc but not net
i can let him access my pc but not net,
he is one of my relative ,so
i want to block him to access net by any means,i have already followed the net disable,proxy options etc ,finally i want a software to block him handled by me,or if any other trick anyone have plz provide me i dont want to block him to access my pc,but want to block him to access net,i cant tell him directly.he is now sleeping ,so i am asking ,plz help me

Follow next steps :-
Internet Exporer Menu
Tools -> internet options -> content tab-> enable -> general tab -> supervisor password

If he is accessing the net through your account there is no way you can do that atleast in windows OS. so create a seperate account for him. and you can use the group policy settings in local computers and users option in control panel to disable the network card in his account and set the required settings(make sure his is not an administrator account). Since you want to block only internet i guess thats the only way. If you have a dial up stuff change the password and uncheck the remember password. But as someone said best is tell him politely that he cannot access net through your PC.

I would password my account and create a new account for him as a limited user.

The first time you open this account the computer will ask you if you want to share internet access with this user... answer no

To be fair I think it woudl be bigger of you to just tell him politley why you do not want him using the net on our pc, rather than use underhand covert methods of stopping him

simply keep username and password to log in when u start the computer.
