according to boycott ford.com they are promoting a gay marriage through homosexual groups and personally i say its about time. in my opinion its against our Constitution to keep gays from marrying given that our inalienable right which can not be taken away, of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. and if it makes gays happy by getting married then we have to let them so i say good for ford motor co. and for gays.

If you use google or your favorite search engine to look up "ford same sex marriage", the only group that comes up as claiming that Ford is supporting same sex marriage is the American Family Association. Since no other groups are making this claim, and Ford themselves do not seem to say anything about it, I'm inclined to think the issue is not a legitimate one.

No, Ford just knows who has the most disposable income in this country...gay people...It's a fact...most are not raising children and have a lot more cash to spend. Ford likes that.
And as far a benefits for same sex couples goes...I've had that for years and years...I'm Canadian...I hope it happens to the US next.

They are not promoting gay marriage...they are providing benefits for "domestic" partnership. The company that I work for is going to start providing benefits for domestic partnership on January 1st....if you are a straight couple, the applicants have to 62 years old or older....if the couple is a gay couple they have to be at least 30 years old.Sounds like a double standard to me.
I think it is a hypocritical they a gay couple can be young and qualify..yet a straight couple has to be near retirement.

Sim , claro, por que não promoveria casamento entre homossexuais, onde a lei permite? Gays se amam como os heteros também.

No. They, like most other automotive manufacturers do offer benefits to employees with same-sex partners, but then again so do most of the Fortune 500 companies.
