Go in your dispaly menu on your tv and see if you have an option called "pixel shift". I have a samsung plasma and it has this feature to prevent screen burn and you can set it to shift up to 4 pixels every minute.

Your TV will be fine no matter what you choose to go with. Just don't let go of your Wii-mote. I've heard stories of the wrist straps on those things breaking off at the worst moments.
