Most old keyboards are of no use and it is best just to pitch them. You can try to donate them to a school but its more trouble then it is worth. Unless you have a massive amount of them and they are relatively new.

Even saving the keys is nearly worthless, seeing as you can buy a cheap keyboard for under $10.

If the keyboard still works donate it to a school or something.

You could give them to a school they might be able to use them, my 2 yr old loves to play with my old ones, I just cut off the cord in back and he thinks he is typing.
