There is a song by an old punk band named Latex Novelties called "Kiss and Make Up". It's about the fighting between the Catholics and Protestants in Ireland. what makes it my favorite is a line that goes "You all sh\t and fall back in it!". It was true in '79 when it was written and is still true about any of that type of hate war. You can hear it at:

Universal Soldier by Donovon and American Idiot by Green Day.
Universal Soldier is the "generic" anti-war song. It applies to all war throught history and tends to bring a tear to my eye.
American Idiot is actually a more specific anti-war song and seems to be aimed at the current war.
