Santa Claus comes from Laplander tradition,
they used to follow the raindeer ,that ate the Amanita Muscara (mushroom of death),and caught the golden urine into a bowel ,
this they drank and they got very high
the drug at first gives the sensation of evaporation of the body leaving the head to the last .and people thought that they could fly ,and many ended up in the chimney trying to get to the roof.
this is why Santa comes down the chiney and has flying raindeer .
the drug cult was turned into folklore and adopted by the Christians ,to entice the pagans into Christianity.
the Tree was also a Pagan tradition of phalic worship
and symbolized the golden penis of Horus ,which Isis had made for him when she put his buchered body back together again ,but could not find his penis,
adopted for the same reason,
All Christian Holidays ,originally were Pagan,
like the first of May(Easter) Halloween and Thanks giving ,as well as Christmas.
Saint Nicolaas was a Spanish Bishop who was kind to the poor ,this was such a rare thing ,that he was rembered for ever.
he had two black slaves ,who gave sweets to the good kids ,and beat the bad ones with twiggs,And he sat on a White Spanish Horse
.
He had Nothing to do with Santa Claus as some uninformed People suggest.

Santa Clause was brought up because children enjoy believing in him. And the best thing in the world is children that are happy.

It's based on the story of St. Nicholas. A man from Vienna, Switzerland.
He is the one that started the thing about giving lots, and lots, and lots of presents.
I learned last year that he had a companion named Krampus.
An evil spirit!
You just never know?
