Yes, I have. You will be bored to death by what I say next.
I entered the spelling bee in 4th grade. There were 4 people left and I spelled the word 'positon' with an 'i' after the 'p', like 'pisition'.
In 5th grade, I won the spelling bee on the word 'quiver'.
In 6th grade, I won the spelling bee for the 2nd year in a row. I can't remember what word I won on.
In 7th grade, I won the spelling bee for the 3rd year in a row. I can't remember what word I won on that year, either.
I'm finally hanging up my dictionary this year and not entering the spelling bee.
Now you know how dorky I am. Sorry for boring you out of your mind!

I was in the spelling bee from 2nd to 5th grade. The only word I remember getting wrong was "oriole."

I remember in elementary having those in class, I know I spelled pretty good compared to some. I won some and lost some.
But now, I think I rely on the "Check Spelling" button too much.

yea i entered a spelling bee when i was in 4th grade..but i didn't win...
i went really far and then i got the word breathe...i thought it was breath
i still remember that lol

I competed against my sister in the county spelling bee one year
(She got out before I did)I was 10th place LOL ...I missed "inertia"

In 4th grade, I came in second, and I think the word I missed was restaurant (which I still can't spell sometimes, lol).

i went to private school and my grade would have spelling bee's every week. and every week i would come in 2nd to my competition then. a very annoying girl named Susana. just thinking of her irritates me.

i won my school spelling bee in 6th grade.....it took forever!!!...
i received an engraved dictionary and they put my name on a plaque of winners in the hallway.....
