Yeah, I know they went 12-0. They had a better record than Michigan or Florida. But I want you to take a look at their schedule at the following address: http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/teamsched?teamId=68

Sacremento State!!! Idaho!!! What kind of a schedule is that! That was the easiest schedule in college football. And now there not in a bowl game, their in a BCS bowl game! They haven't played a single team that was ranked (they'll play No. 8, Oklahoma in their bowl game on January 7)! And one person here on Yahoo Answers thought one of their players should win the Heisman! Troy Smith! And on ESPN.com and people here on Yahoo Answers, people are saying "Should Boise State be considered to play against Ohio State in the BCS national Championship"!!!! If they played OSU, then we would not be talking about a Boise State team next year, because either they would go to Division III or they would be so embarassed to play football, so they wouldn't have a team!!!!

Dude, you are missing the point, the reason they are in a BCS game is because they made special rules for mid-major teams like Boise St. to be in it, and get a share of the money, I agree with you though that the spot should be reserved for the best 10 teams in college football period, but if they beat some at large team in a bcs game, then well they earned it, if they get destroyed then well people should reconsider allowing such teams in the bcs, this all came about by Utah getting an at large birth in 2005 and winning the fiesta bowl, and no doubt their non conference schedule is weak the play in a non bcs conference, if their schedule was good they would be in the national championship, but dont hate the broncos until they get destroyed in a bcs game.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that they are overrated even though they had a pretty easy schedule this year. They still beat Hawaii, Oregon st., and Utah. who are all pretty good teams. Also they have only lost seven games total since 2002 with for coming from last season alone. So the fact that they don't play great opponents every week shouldn't take away from the fact that they have one of the best records in the country ever year.

I bet Boise st would beat the your team pal! Just watch on Jan 1st the broncos will beat the sooners in a shocker. Watch for the Boise St. Broncos to move to a more powerful conference within 3 years.

This is why college football so badly needs a playoff system. Then you could see if you are right about them being overrated. If the win in their bowl game then it will really put the bcs in a bind.

Can't say they are overrated. They are undefeated. Only a playoff system would remove any doubt. Even the big name schools have 1-2 teams they play each season that are much smaller and/or lower division schools. Line them up and let them play.
