On one side Thor killed the great serpant, almost emptied an entire ocean, made huge valleys out of mountain peaks and generaly slaughtered anyone to go against him with great fun and entertaining Gusto. Generally considered to be the champion of the Norse Gods.

On the other side you have the spear wielding, wrathfull Daughter who personally burst out of Zues's head and almost never lost a fight, (if ever, at least in battle.) A Warrioress so fierce as to be the envy of the greatest of valkeries. Even Zues's wife queen B Hera herself does not dare to provoke Athena. Daddy know's better than to contradict his fiery little Champion and Wisest of Godesses.

Come on peoples let's tally up the vote and give detailed explanations about your choice in this battle royal.

Besides war, Athena is also a goddess of intellect ands wisdom.

She would outwit Thor, employing better strategy. A Thor was easily distractable, she could also employ feminie wiles to catch him off-guard, and spike his drink.

Loki often outwitted Thor, and Athena is probably smarter and more calculating than the chaotic Loki, whose schemes come about as whims, not as strategies.

Thor has a soft spot for beautiful women and Athena is certainly beautiful, so Athena would win, hands down.

Now what would happen if the two of them decided to join forces against us all?
