Make sure you water it and you can spray it occasionally with water too.

Here is a good idea. Create a syphon for water. Put a bucket behind the tree filled with water. Then put a tube in the bucket of water and suck the air out of tube. Immediately put the tube in the water in the base of the tree. This way, the tree will always have water in the base. Trees die because without water for a short time, the sap inside gets hard and will not allow the tree to get more water when you finally get around to watering it. Have a nice Christmas

I have heard that the stuff they sell in the little packets to keep you tree fresh is just sugar and some chemicals and that putting sprite in the tree stand with the water will work just as well. And you don't have to worry about your pets drinking it. I have a fake tree though so I have not tried this.

I don't understand why people go and get a real Christmas tree and you can have a fake one that is just as nice. However, keep it watered down and keep away pets that might drink from the water.

Keep plenty of water in the tree stand the trunk is sitting in, and add sugar to the water. I understand it imitates sap.

If it's in a regular metal stand, you should keep water in the container. If it's not, put it in a bucket of water with rocks so it won't tip over.

water it everyday and maybe get some of that bloom stuff in the garden section. they even make some stuff you can put in the water, that's made just for that reason. ask the garden section about it in home depot or Lowe's. have a nice day.

We water ours with sugar water. That is better versus regular water.
We just got our tree like 10 minutes ago! :-)
