Every baby is different. If the baby is sleeping, don't wake him/her just to feed unless directed by your doc. But if the baby is growing and having enough pee/poop diapers, there is no reason to wake him/her to eat - they will wake up when they get hungry around that age. It's when they are 2-3 weeks old that they couldn't care less about food and just want sleep :).

Yes this is fine!! Enjoy the sleep. I always fed my children on demand even when I was breastfeeding. My oldest started sleeping through the night without feeding at 2 months. My youngest not till he was about 21 months. Depends on the baby. He'll wake up when he's hungry!! Like I already said enjoy the 4 hrs of uniterrupted sleep. Mine are now 3 y/o and 6 y/o and I still at times check to make sure they're still breathing if they deviate from their normal sleeping pattern.

My 4 a million/2 month old is the comparable, attempt shortening her sunlight hours naps and make useful her final nap ends a minimum of three hours in the past bedtime. Getting a bedtime ordinary in place is a competent concept too - tub, pjs, milk, tale then mattress. If she cries stay along with her, rubbing her tummy and face till she is going to sleep. If she wakes later on bypass to her yet do no longer %. her up, enable her understand you're there so she feels shield yet that it quite is time for sleep no longer play, it could take a on an identical time as at first yet after some days she could be drowsing plenty extra constructive and getting up early for you. i think of you may feed and dress her in the past she is going to the sitter. Goodluck!

depends most bottle fed babies can go 3 to 4 hours between feedings most breast fed babies need to be feed every 2 hours. on the other hand my daughter was breast fed and ate every 4 hours and slept through the night by 3 months. Talk to the dr and if the child is gaining well 4 hours should be fine

Yeah, and if your baby sleeps through the whole night too, its ok. They dont necessarily need to wake up to feed if they dont want to. My first son slept through the night from 10 pm to 7 am every night fromthe very start. It was great. My second started sleeping longer too by the time he was 6 weeks. Unfortunaltey my 3rd woke up every 2 hours for the first year....but they will wake up on their own to eat whenever they are hungry.

Relax, Mom. Yes, 4 hours is perfectly fine, even 6 if he/she is sleeping peacefully. Your baby will automatically wake up when his/her body needs anything like food. In the meantime, get some rest yourself and count your blessings you have such a peaceful child.
Babies have their own time clocks. Enjoy!!

4 hours is fine! It's great in fact! Just let the baby sleep as long as he/she will. The baby will be just fine.
