Take the boot liner out and put it somewhere to dry. Leave the windows open on a dry day(hard at this time of year I know) to let the moisture escape. If it is damp in the car it will never dry outkeeping the heating on and the windows up.

If the car has A/C, start the engine, turn on the air conditioner (Max) and slide the temp lever all the way to the hottest setting. The A/C system will dry the air as it passes into the cabin of the vehicle. The heated air will work like a sponge. Do this with the windows up for about 15 min. Then turn the ac to economy mode (Econ) and continue this until it is dry. Ive done this 100 times. It can be hard to find a dry day this time of year. After its dry, find the source of the condensation and seal it, otherwise this will happen again.

most cars if not all do this the problem is when the weather is cold or damp we drive round with the heater on full and the windows closed hence the cause of condensation. When driving if you have your heater on open a window slightly also when the car is parked up leave the window slightly open this will allow the inside of the car to breathe its really the same idea as opening house windows letting the air in should prevent it from happening but unfortunately this isn't a cure

It's either a leaking rear windscreen or even the side windows, check that the rear hatch seal rubber is ok, or check that water is not getting in via leaking light seals.

To water test, get a hose and spray water onto car, starting from bumper upwards, taking your time. Get someone to sit in the back seat of your car to check for leaks, good idea to remove the carpet/mat in the boot area for better view, but don't forget, do it very slowly from bottom upwards, spray one part at a time for at least 2 / 3 minutes.

Good luck, Please let me know how you get on.

cheak the seal is not damaged if not rub a small amount of vasaline all the way round it do this on the doors to this will give you a better seal and will prevent any more moisture getting in.
then when you have a nice hot day as above leave windows open

If you leave and organic type of material (leather) in an area which can heat up and cool off, the moisture will cause the material to "grow". the solution is simple - don't leave your boots in the boot!

Your seals around the trunk/boot lid may need to be repaired which can be a do-it-yourself job.
