well i come from wigan, and dont get to see many sheep,if they are scared maybe thats why.

Being Welsh, and fresh off the mountain, I know what a sheep is, but have no idea what a wiganer is.
There are no wiganers round here therefore I suspect the sheep might be flippin terrified if they saw such a strange thing.
Possibly I would be terrified too.

Is a Wiganer a person from Wigan??

Wigan people are not country dwelling village idiots but hard working decent North Western English Lancastrians.
Have some respect whoever you are.

i think it's funny that joe public mentioned showing them a 'welly' in a question about wigan. (if you know wigan well enough you'll get it.)
