Anyone else have this experience?

Question

Where you think you hear the phone ringing from another room, so you open the door to go out and get it, but it's completely silent?

That's been happening to me a lot lately...and don't tell me I'm going crazy--I've already gone. ;)

It happened this morning. That's what woke me up. I left my phone in the living room by the computer and thought I heard it ringing. You may be right, I/You may be crazy. But it may just be a lunatic you're looking for. Stay that way it's more fun.

maybe you should be prepared for a phone call in the next few days. that has happened to me and i received phone calls after, usually the same hour but maybe yours will take longer. some are good and some are bad, just think positive.

I don't remember what it's called, but it's a real mental condition. A lot of people have it and more and more people are getting it all the time now that cell phones are with us constantly. Basically, we've heard it so many times, and we're so attuned to that noise that our brains just play it sometimes because we expect to hear it.
It happens to me sometimes too. Basically we just have to get used to it or get rid of our phones.

If my windows are open, I think my phone is ringing but it turns out to be my neighbors phone.......

haha.. yeah it happened to me once..freaked me out cause i was watching when a stranger calls lol.
