Has anyone watched the movie 'An Inconvenient Truth? What are your thoughts on it?

I just watched it and it has certainly raised the level of awareness and concern i have for the environment and the impact we have on it.

It was very informative and everyone should definitely watch it. The part that got me the most concerned was seeing the glaciers around the world in different year segments on how the glaciers are melting so fast. Also, how the CO2 level has raised double than it has for so many million years, and sadly it'll get doubled even more within 50 years from now.

We definitely need to take part of taking care of our planet or soon enough... the most valuable thing in this world will be fresh drinking water, which at this rate we're putting ourselves and our children to have less sources of fresh water to drink.

Yes,its a good movie. But realistically, it took Humans about 6000 years to get from 100,000 to 7.9 Billion. If you chart that, Humans double and triple every year. At the rate the number of Humans increases it is impossible to put into place any effective means of slowing or even haveing a small effect on the enviorment.
To even think that Humans can save a Planet, when they cannot even decide where the imaginary lines are that we call Borders, is itself an excersize in stupidity.
Enjoy the ride while your here, cause simple math tells me that critical mass point is approaching.

I really liked it. as Mark Twain said"...it will gratify some people and astonish the rest." I'm already an envioromentalist so this movie definately gave me back up arguments for debates.

I saw it! It's an eye-opener and you know what??? It's happening now!!! Save the environment cause today's weather was too hot for winter :(
