It's been a long while since I have had fish but I would check the pH of the water, but they could just be getting sick. Some don't live that long I have no idea why, we had a few that only live a few days and then we had some that lived for years until they were too big to flush, so it could be anything. Good luck

What do you keep them in? Goldfish produce a lot of waste - they are little poop machines - and fancy goldfish need 20 gallons for each fish. If you fish are in a 30-40gallon tank with frequently cleaned water, is it possible that some chemical got into the water? Even something like an aerosel can sprayed in the room.

However, if your fish are in too small tank (20 gallons or less is too small) and/or if you don't clean the water often enough (you should be replacing 20-40% of the water every week) then they likely have swim bladder and/or ammonia poisoning.

You should invest in an ammonia and nitrite testing kit, that will give you an idea if your ammonia or nitrite levels are too high, which would definitely hurt your fish and cause them to swim wonky.

Your fish are optimal probable plagued by ammonia burn: Goldfish are very messy fish they launch ammonia even as they breathe and poop better useful than any fish in evaluation so once you've 3 goldfish in a small tank the water large is gonna be undesirable. a million difficulty-free/comet goldfish needs a 55G tank, fancy kinds bypass with a 20G each and every. If over right here couple of days your fishs scales grow to be to teach black then it really is surely ammonia poisoning. precise now do a 50% water replace this may help yet you ought to strengthen your tank in case you bypass such as your fish to thrive. solid luck !

well first they might have messed up one of their fins. My fish damaged it's fin and now it swims sideways....or they might not have enough room. Just look at their fins and then at their aquarium. But if they seem healthy and are swimming okay other then the sideways thing i wouldnt worry about it.
