Well.. to answer you question, you can make an exe file, writing a code in a certain programming language, and then using a program called a compiler, which (if the code is syntactically correct), generates an exe file of what your code "says". :o)

You're going to have to take quite a few programming classes, or go to college and get a degree in Computer Science - you're not going to be able to just write software like you want to do in a couple of nights.

it's as easy as it seems, u seem new to programming, so first you need to choose an easy programming language and start learning it from the very first begining, u can't just jump to making programs without having the basics, if u wanna learn a programming language, i recommand (Visual Basic), it's easy for a start, if u need help mail me (biboeg2001@yahoo.com)

You will have to learn programming.
I'd recommend you learn VisualBasic as it is easier to grasp and has a lot of tutorials and code samples available.
