Resident Evil Director's Cut Dual Shock for PS1?

Question

I want to go through the game but I only have 15 bullets in my gun. And when I use them all I only have a knife and the knife is gay so i usually end up dying. Does anyone know any cheats for me to get bullets or how to stay alive?

puss all the deasks u find and open them wirth the lockpick..... theres usually ammo in there, and the shot gun is in the room where the cieling comes down on you (right aftre you enter the only bathroom in the mansion....
