1st, write balanced reaction:

2CO + O2 -> 2CO2

2nd, change 0.69 g CO2 to moles

0.69 g CO2 / (44.01 g CO2 per 1 mol CO2) = 0.0157 mol CO2

3rd, find mol CO required by mole ratio. Since it is a 2 to 2 ratio,we need 0.0157 mol CO.

4th, change 0.0157 mol CO to grams

0.0157 mol CO * (28.01 g CO per 1 mol CO) = 0.440 g CO.

so answer is 0.440 g of CO.
