Is the sony mylo a phone??????does it have aim????does it have 3G??And with skype can you use the video calling?????what is better sidekick 3 or sony mylo???please help!

no mylo isnt a phone its a personal communicator..
the mylo DOES NOT have AIM which makes it worthless (to me anyways) it also doesnt have MSN which makes it even more horrible.. i definately thought i wanted one, but when i did more research about it, i found out that it cant do as much as i thought it would do. with mylo, you can use it to make calls on Skype but its not a phone phone where you can make calls to whoever whenever..
it only has 1G memory built in but you can add memory sticks which is a plus. the music capabilities are good and video is good too but to use the video to its best, you need sony's converter which is like an extra $20 i think. the sidekick 3 is a phone. it can browse the web but you have to subscribe with monthly fees to t-mobile which i personally dont like. with the mylo, you can browse the web anywhere where there is open wi-fi like starbucks or in your own home without those pesky fee's. also, the sidekick HAS AIM and MSN so thts a definate plus. the mylo is shaped cool and all but it cant do as much. also, mylo doesnt have picture-taking capabilities. i think you might want to wait a bit on the mylo because sooner or later, sony will probably update it like apple has their ipods and install AIM, MSN, and a camera on the mylo. dont worry, i totally had this problem too, i really want tht mylo, but im gonna wait till AIM and an camera are added.. if they are lol.i made the mistake of buying my ipod too early and got a 20GB tht doesnt have video, now i really want the video ipod but im not spending another 300 bucks... either way, its up to you if you want the mylo or sidekick 3, hope this is helpful!

well i say check it out sonystyle .com it will tell u all about it i know that its main feature is to do IM im sure it has aim. u can surf the web its not a phone and i think u can watch videos and listen to music and its a photo viewer but check it out at that site. and the sidekick 3 is really cool big screen small skinner than sk2 . i think the side kick is a bit better than mylo becasue it is a phone has u can view pictures listen to mp3s and surf the web real web sites!! not modified the sk3 has bluetooth wich is great for the headsets and transfering info/pics to a bluetooth enabled laptop or pda. and of course email and IM i know it has aim!! hope this helps i would go with the sidekick mylo is mainly for im but the sidekick does that and awhole lot more!! and it has a 1.3 megapixle camera wth a flash and a mmc slot! and th screen is so cool how it swivels!! and has a great key board! hope this helps :)
