okay i just recently got my nose pierced and i dont want to scare u but yeah, it kinda did hurt a little bit. it was not bad though and the pain only lasted a little bit. what they do is, you pick out a nose ring and they measure like the cartalige in you nose and bend it to fit perfectly, then they put a dot with a marker on your nose to show u where they are going to put it, u can tell them to move it tho. then they just take a gun and stick a needle through your nose. its really quick and then they put the nose ring in. you leave it in for 8 weeks and then u can go back and they will show u how to change it. oh, but everyday clean your peircing with Witch Hazle 2 times. okay, since i told u that, i am wanting to get my tongue peirced for christmas and i was wondering if that hurts? my emal is chevy_truxx_are_hott8509@yahoo.com and my name is kelsey. thank you!

Mine hurt a week after I had it done, because the swelling was actually pulling the ring in (I have the stud but the stem was bent like a cork screw), but I went back to the piercing salon and they were able to fix it free of charge. The actual piercing only hurts for a second - and you'll tear up on the side of the pierced nostril (it's a quick reaction) But if you went through a tongue piercing, I'm sure you can do this with no problem. Just don't go for the gun - THAT will hurt like a b**ch!

I just got it done this past week. Mine is starting to swell a little but the guy who did mine said that it was normal & that if it looks like the piercing is sinking into your nose is also normal just because of the swelling. People think it hurts a lot but honestly , it's not as bad as you think. I had wanted mine done for over 2 years and I just put it off because I am not very good with pain. The most painful part for me was when he was putting the actual nose ring in my nose right after piercing it. It was very uncomfortable but it's over and done with just like that. Hope this helps :)

I got my nose done a little more than a year ago. It did not hurt at first, but it did become uncomfortable later that nite. it should heal quickly if you take care of it properly. If it dose start to hurt, soak it in a solution of sea-salt and warm water for about 3-5 mins. There are a number of websites that will give full instructions on how to care for a new piercing.

It hurts, like any other piercing. It was one of the less painful ones for me, but my eye still teared up a lot on the side that I got it done. The healing process was pretty fast and easy.
Your piercer will discuss placement with you and mark the spot. Then he will put a receiving tube in your nostril, aligned with the back of the spot. He will have you count to 3 (or something) and will push the needle through and into the receiving tube. After that he'll put in the jewelery and you'll be all done!

just like *~* Kelsey *~* said but the pain all depends on your pain tolerance the lower the less it will hurt the higher it will really hurt.
