Good luck with the potassium chloride - It's found in many explosives, and hard to get. But there are supply depots all over the country - you just have to have the credentials.

i think you could find copper sulfate at Home Depot in the plumbing section.

some are available form drug stores, others (mostly in bulk) from outlets like VWR (Van Waters & Rogers)
