Hi im 15. im called ryan... for xmas i wanted my own pc or laptop as im not allowed on msn messenger etc cause it supposedly gives viruses which it so doesnt anyway. i was allowed one for xmas well kinda my dad was for it now my mum says no and im not allowed i wanna run away what do do?

to everyone who has such horrible and cruel things to say to this young lad - don't.
have we all forgotten what it was like to be 15?
we all felt like doing stupid things
Ryan don't run away
life gets better always and that's a promise
try and make them understand how u feel calmly
maybe they will understand
parents don't mean to be horrible
it may be that they cant afford it
or something else
talk to them
communicate with each other and u will understand them better

If you want something so expensive why don't you get a paper round and save.....
Have you stopped and thought that maybe your mum and dad have received an unexpected bill or there car might of gone
wrong that has used all there spare cash....
Xmas if stressful enough without children threatening to run away if they don't get what they want....

There's a reason why your mum is saying no. How about sitting her down and tell her all the great things the computer is used for. You must earn her trust from not abuseing the internet.
Tyr that and put up with their decision. Running away will olny bring you pain.

my parents were similar and i just had a go at them and they let me, plus im sure your mum or dad would have done stuff that has more viruses than you so they really dont have a leg to stand on. AND NO RUNNING AWAY that would really be stupid.

just be thankful you will have a nice meal to sit down to.
and be happy with whatever gift you get from your parents.
you are young yet .you don't need to have everything all at once' keep some things to look forward to as you grow up

I personally think your a spoiled brat.. For any kid to complain they do not have their own laptop is insane. Do you realize that alot of kids will have nothing for Christmas??????? I think you need to do some volunteer work in a homeless shelter!
