Upon embarking on my new college adventure, I find the amount of prerequs daunting. Nursing school is less lengthy, at least in theory. Pharmacy is still interesting. How to choose?

ultimately it boils down to which is the one you enjoy most.

Both involve long hours, and 24 hour coverage. Nursing is for the most part more patient intensive. Pharmacy pays better.

These are just some quick examples of broad issues. You've a lot to find out about both before starting either. Get to work now......then tell us your answer

Nursing depending if you are going for associates or bachelors is either 2 or 4 year course. Pharmacy is a minimum of 6 years. Pharmacy is very competitive to get into. You will need a GPA of 3.4-3.5 to be competitive.
Choose what you want to do and what will make you happy. The prereqs for nursing and pharmacy, are somewhat similiar. You might be able to double up. The issue is that Nursing does not require as much hard science.

As to artwork, it relies upon on the ambience. I recommend once you're a nurse and dealing in a million,000 mattress medical institution and you're 50% in need of the mandatory manpower then you definately offered to be great extragruelling, you recognize. the comparable is going with pharmacy, in case you're in contact with the main important production branch of the particularly sought Zuellig branch or etc then you definately are in for lung busting day... As to be taught, i could no longer say plenty. in the Philippines the place BS nursing had basically been made a 5 3 hundred and sixty 5 days direction whilst in comparison with 4 3 hundred and sixty 5 days BS Pharmacy it could be ordinary to make certain the version.

PHARMACY....wayyyyy better, u dont have to clean people. plus you can open your business or work for someone, your decision. Pharmacy is better paid and you can make your own time work. Plus if you have pharmaciens working for you, you can stop working and ur pharmacy will still give you money.
