You have to check your yahoo account profile. Be sure that your zone is set to the proper site where you live.

To get into your profile options, go to Y! mail and go to the options link, then click on the "Account Information" link.

It will ask you password again, and show you your Yahoo Id Card, click on the Edit link on the Member Information section.

After that, you will reach General preferences section, you will see the "Preferred Content", click on the link and correct your information to the proper zone and language.

After that press the "Finished" button.

It should be all.

Good luck.

Could be that you, like me decided to push an advert without thinking and ended up on here. Glad I did though. But on the other hand t might be worth looking in to the security issue of things

Click My Account on the top of any Yahoo page when you're logged in. Type in your password and click the "Edit" right of "Member Information." If preferred content says "Yahoo! U.S." then I don't know what's wrong. If not, click the link and change it to United States.
