any john wayne fans?

my name came off of a john wayne movie.. my name is taleah it was the love intrests sisters name.. it was a movie when john was still young. 1930's to 1950's.. my parents say it was something to do with a plantation or something and it wasnt a western movie.. if you could help my and get me the right movie ill vote you best answer!
