"Could I BE wearing any more clothes?" Lillith asked herself. It was freezing out, so she didn't really care. She was waiting outside the mall for her friend Amaryllis. Today, she was going to ask Parker Heartman out. They put together a sceme for them to meet at Hot Topic while she was supposedly buying her cousin a Fall Out Boy shirt. Even more romantic, as it was Christmas Eve. All in all, not a bad plan.
When Parker showed up, he asked her if she knows which album a certain Evanescensce song is from. (His sister loves the group.) "Well," Parker said, "I sure am glad I know you!" They started talking about bands and the true meanings to their music. And furthermore...
One song had the line "Every time a bell rings, an angel gets its wings." Things got really deep, and they walked around the mall for a while. Parker leaned towards her. They weren't standing under the mistletoe iunder which Lillith was supposed to ask him out (The plan had gone astray, at the least.) Parker, as if reading her mind, said "You and I don't need any mistletoe." Lillith and Parker then shared a kiss that would never be forgotten.

My boyfriend had taken me ice skating and it was so romantic. Or at least, it was supposed to be. There was some cheesy song playing saying that every time a bell rings, an angel gets it's wings. Then my boyfriend said "I sure am glad I know you." Then he went in for a kiss. I said " There's no mistletoe" He then said "You and I don't need any mistletoe."

You and I don't need any Mistletoe to sit her and kiss by the fire just lean in and hold me tight and furthermore I wish you'd stay longer. I'm sure glad to know you you make me feel merry at this time of year. I miss my gram's at Christmas, she always made the best sugar cookies, and at Christmas time she would always decorate her tree with lots of bells. When I was little I asked her why and she replied,"Because every time a bell rings, an angel gets it's wings, and at this time of year we need more angels to bring Peace and good will to man kind".

So it was totally snowing when I woke up and my Mom made me put on that GROSS parka that Aunt Flora got me for my birthday last year. It's like, blue and puffy and has this totally hideous faux fur trim. I looked in the mirror and was all, "Could I BE wearing any more clothes?! Josh won't even know I'm FEMALE when he sees me wearing this." And my Mom was all, "What makes you think you're going to see Josh today, young lady? It's Christmas, we're on our way to Aunt Flora's house." "But MOM," I begged, "Josh is my BOYFRIEND and I need to give him his PRESENT and I'll DIE if I have to go all day without seeing him!!" So my Mom said, "OK dear, why don't you drive to his house and quickly exchange gifts, then meet us at Aunt Flora's. Be there by NOON!" All in all, not a bad plan, I thought.

I arrived at Josh's house just after he and his family had finished handing out gifts. He was so happy to see me and we went to sit on his back porch to sip eggnog and exchange presents.

"I sure am glad I know you", Josh said, gazing into my eyes adoringly. "And furthermore..." he said, grinning, "I got you something very special this year." "Ooh, what is it?" I said. He opened a box to reveal the Criterion Collection edition of my FAVORITE movie, It's A Wonderful Life! It included a collectible Christmas ornament of an angel with my favorite quote from the movie: "Every time a bell rings, an angel gets its' wings."

"Oh, Josh," I cried, "You're the best boyfriend EVER! I love you!" "I love you too," Josh said. "Let's go find some mistletoe and..." I smiled at Josh and said, "You and I don't need any mistletoe." Then we made out for what seemed like hours, until I finally had to go over to my Aunt Flora's house. Overall, it was a good Christmas.

"YOU AND I DONT NEED ANY MISTLETOE BECAUSE I AM NOT GOING TO BE GIVING YOU KISSES ANY TIME SOON, DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME." the memory of the fight that ended that relationship still bothered me, had i over reacted or was i allowed to feel the way i did, i mean he tells me one week before Christmas that he is moving across country. Now sitting with my best friend 2 days later, i cant stop thinking that maybe i should call him and try to explain why i was upset.

My friend, whom by now what very tired of hearing me complain about everything, just looked at me with a bored expression on her face then said "if your so upset just call him, or better yet show up on his front doorstep, im sure he wont just leave you standing out in the cold, he loves you right, and furthermore, you need to appologise when you go over there because you did over react".

"i guess your right, and all in all, not a bad plan, here i go." after looking outside i realized i should probably dress warm b/c it was snowing. after dressing i looked in the mirror and said to myself "jeez could i be wearing any more clothing, i changed into something that was warm but didnt make me look like a walking closet, then made my way to his house. i rang the the doorbell and waited for an answer.

i was just about to give up and go back home when the door finally opened and there he was, just standing there waiting, i was nervous and didnt really know what to say so i just blerted out the first thing that came to mind which happened to be "hey did you know that evertime a bell rings, an angel gets it's wings." he just kinda stood there looking at me waiting for me to get on with what i had to say. i asked if i could come in and he silently stepped aside. i came in and shook the snow from my hair then turned as he closed the door behind me. the next thing i new i was in his arms and we were kissing and i was saying sorry over and over and over. after i realized things were gonna be okay i backed away and smile up at his handsome face, we went into the living room and talked for hours about plans and ways that we could still be together. once finished i looked at him again and wispered softly, i sure am glad i know you
