Michigan is clearly the superior team. Even Florida's own fans seem to agree; all Gator fans keep saying is, "we won our conference, which is the toughest in football", "Michigan already had a chance to play OSU", it isn't fair that we don't get an opprotunity". In all of their arguements, you don't hear the Gators saying "we're a better team than Michigan".
In sports, as in life, things shouldn't be about fair, they should be about what's right. It's right that Michigan and OSU are the two best teams in the country. The BCS is supposed to pit #1 and #2 against each other to determine the National Championship. A discussion equivalent to a couple of 2nd grade parents arguing with their children about who's turn it is to play with a toy should never enter the equation.
With that being said, the pollsters are those 2nd grade parents. The media and the coaches do not want to see the rematch. They cannot control the computers, but they will do everything in the power to prevent Michigan from getting to Glendale. Urban Meyer has complained and whined like the 2nd grade child for weeks now about his team's opprotunity, and I think the pacifist lemmings in the universities and media outlets are going to buy him his lolli.
While Michigan deserves to go the championship, a game that I believe that they would win going away, I do not think that they will get that shot. This is a travesty for the college sports community.

I would enjoy seeing michigan in a rematch but...i dont think they will because florida is solid one loss team and their confernce is one of if not the best in the nation they've toppled so many high ranked teams I lost count and their one loss to came from a high ranked oppenet plus...if michigan and ohio st. do get a rematch in the national championship....what will it prove if michigan wins...because then both of them will have one loss to eachother...so who is better? who would get the championship..you would say michigan right? but thats unfair..because ohio st. owns the same victory over michigan..however i will be rooting that michigan gets in there so that there is a change...i dont belive it will happen.

It would not be fair to a team that DID win their conference for UM to compete in the championship game.
The Gators will probably get the nod given that Arkansas was ranked number 8.
I must admit the possibility of beating "that team up north" twice in one season is awesome. The 'weens don't perform very well in bowl games anyway.
Go Buckeyes !!!
