Do not allow the automatic connection to internet. Go to the property of the Connection on the control panel give password to connection.

If you have Windows XP you can set your log-on to have a password so your "roommate" cant even access the whole computer. To create a password go to Star>Click on the log-on icon you selected at the top>click cancel in the new window>and click create a password. This will lock the whole computer unless the password is submitted.

I don't know what kind of OS you have in your PC, but Windows gives you the chance to use a password so that only you can access your PC.

Start your PC and try to use help by typing "password" or if you have WinXP go to user accounts and look in there how to do it.

Get someone to put a code in for you and switch the PC off every time you are not there. No one will be able to access it then because they will not know the code, only you will and the person that assisted you in doing that

blocking him off by software is not the answer. If it bothers you so much then you have to tell him to take your permisson first before he uses your computer, even in your absence
