Yes, for example there is a trilogy by Bruce Coville where the AI they're making is "Operation Sherlock." It's a conscious deriviative, though.

Ther are a number of mystery and fantasy series and individual novels that features the name of Sherlock Holmes; however, Conan-Doyle was the first and everything else is based off of his work.
