No, they will not fight, but they will pester the female to no end. Male guppies are very amorous fish, and it is recommended to have 2 or 3 females for every male.

They will eat their young (all fish will eat what can fit in their mouths, including their own children), yes, but if you provide lots of cover like lots of plants, some of the babies will survive.

If you want to keep the babies, you can use a breeding net, which you put the female in before she gives birth and then you keep the babies in it until they are big enough to not be eaten.

However, I don't like breeding nets, it stresses the female and if you don't time it right the mother can be stuck in the net for days before giving the birth. I suggest you just provide lots of plants for the babies to hide in, and then catch them with a net once they're born. They're very easy to catch when they're babies.

Good luck!

The males wont fight each other to the death or anything but they may attack each other depending on the size of the tank, the female will be constantly harassed though that is why most people recommend 3 females to 1 male. For the most part yes they eat their young but if you have enough plants or other places for the fry to hide then most will live. You will be over run with guppies in no time anyway and you will wish more of them were getting eaten.

The males generally will not fight each other, but may pester the female, even to death, trying to mate with her. She will need lots of places to hide. At some point, with very few exceptions, fish will eat their young. This applies to males and females. Guppies will eat them almost immediately if the babies do not have fine grass, preferably floating, to hide in, or unless you take measures to separate them at birth. They make special things you can put in your tank for this. You can get one at a pet shop.
