Because love is very mind controlling and complicated feeling.Just like a car..you are riding around thinking "gee this car is so nice" then bingo your motor blows up..then its all downhill.

I have to wonder why you think that love should hurt because really, it shouldn't. Of course any loving relationship will have its downtimes and challenges but if you and person you love are hurting each other then something is wrong. Not to be too blunt here and please don't take this as insensitive, but I would really suggest some good self-examination and/or couples counseling to get to the root of this.

Could be the making up(love making after an argument is the best) or it could be you don't know what you had until its gone depends which way your hurting

I`ve never been in love, but I can`t imagine it feeling good when you`re hurting about it. Unless it`s like... good hurting...

because sometimes you dont realize how much you love that person until theyre gone!!!!! and it might just be that you realize alot of things that were wrong and right shouldve and couldve. you mightve was loving too hard,or either thought you were in love but instead you just love(d) that person
