There most definitely needs to be play off system. It is the only fair way. As you can see by the comments, team bias will always create contovery. As a fan of the game, I would like to see another team get a crack at Ohio State, but the object is to have number 1 and 2 meet. I think Michigan is the obvious Number 2. I believe it is very difficult to beat a good team twice so Ohio State might not be able to beat Michigan again. That would be interesting to see. Florida has struggled to win a number of their games. You could blame that on the toughness of the SEC. A match with OSU would determine that. Either way, it will be a good game.

Both---and neither.

The BCS works only when there are two undefeated and highly ranked teams. Otherwise, too much is left up to computers and the often biased opinion of sportswriters and coaches. The sad fact is that college 1-A football may never have what could be called a TRUE champion, simply because the schools and the NCAA are making too much money on the Bowl games. The only true way to crown a champion is through a playoff----and this will never happen.

So---Michigan or Florida?

Neither....I want to see if the Arizona Cardinals could beat Ohio State.....

i would have loved to seen Michigan in the championship game if usc would have beaten UCLA, but they loss.now i say they loss to Ohio state already this season,so let a conference champion, a team that had to work extremely hard all season, florida get a shot at glory. i don't think the bcs system is flawed, maybe the voters are. switching to playoffs would take away the excitment of college football. belive it or not bowl games are americas past time

Michigan Wolverines. Yes, there should be a playoff system. Yes, Florida might get left out of this.

I like both teams (gators and wolverines). Not really a fan of O State.

All three teams stink at playing defense. So now I am not sure who should play for the championship. Defense to me is sooooooooo important.

Michigan is a better team than Florida - but Florida hasn't had a chance against OSU yet but it would just be wrong if Michigan after that game against OSU didn't get a shot at OSU on a neutral field. I think Michigan should get the shot - Michigan did have the tougher schedule and would be undefeated without the loss to OSU. They deserve the title shot more!!!

Michigan had been one notch higher, so I don't see why it shouldn't be them. The previous game really is a separate issue from this (in answering the poster above).

Perhaps there should be a game between Michigan and Florida first, since it appears to be that close of a decision.

I think Florida should go to the title game not just because I am a fan but beacuse they have a stronger strength of schedule. I think college football should have the playoff system so we will really know who should go to the title game.

As much as it pains me to say it as an FSU alumn, I've got to go with Florida on this one. Michigan had their chance. Florida has beaten enough ranked teams this year, and had only the one loss to a ranked team, that they've earned a shot at the title. Not that I think they can beat OSU, but they've earned the right to try.

If you can't win your conference, you don't deserve to play for the national championship. I think Florida should go, they played the nations hardest scheldule in the nation's hardest conference, and won it. Yes, the system is flawed, but it is the best thing we have for right now, until a playoff comes along. Teams like Boise St. should deserve a chance for playing for the NC game, and a playoff would allow them to.

I give the nod to Florida, since they won the best conference, the SEC, with only one loss.
Plus, some media and coach voters will vote against an OSU-Michigan rematch.
