Do you mean where does it collect vitamins and other nutrients?

You should not have blood "in" your intestines. If you do it is due to internal bleeding like from a severe ulcer. In which case you need to seek medical attention. Blood in this case will be digested as if it were food and will be excreted brown almost black in a BM.

the blood doesn't collect in the intestines...it continues to flow through the vascular system...the veins that are all along the outer layer of the intestines........doesn't it??

It doesn't collect it is part of the circulation. It sounds as though you need a good biology book, try amazon.
