I find out in 6 weeks the gender of my baby and we both have agreed if it's a girl to call her Naomi. But i want to pronounce it Niomi. Is there any ways to spin this name and make it something else or any unique ways of just spelling the name itself. Both my two other girls have very unique and unusual names, i hate to make this one plain jane and common kwim! Thank you in advance. :)

I love the name Niomi!

I think it's an unusal name already. Definately not a plain jane. If I could convince my husband we'd use that name. But, I had to bribe with with Maria, lol.

Why not make her middle name unusal? That way she could choose to use her middle name as she gets older? That's what my parents did for me and I appreciated it. In high school I used my middle name, but now I use my plain first name.

Naomi is unusual enough on it's own to not need a spelling change
