If Michigan plays OSU and wins will this prove anything?....

Look at it this way...The BCS is really about finding the number one team. Will we really know who the number one team is if michigan beats OSU (then they are 1-1) or if OSU beat michigan (then what about Florida, if they win a bowl game)

Although I would like to see the Buckeyes beat Michigan again, and it would probably make for the better game it will be Florida. There is no way the BCS will let it be an interconference game because of the immense amount of money involved. The differences in paydays between the national championship game and the second tier games of the BCS is around 2 million a team. There would be an uproar if the Big 10 got all that money and it wasn't spread amongst another conference. Michigan did already lose to OSU, and in reality it wasn't as close as the score showed, but it was at the shoe, so it would be interesting to see the game at a neutral field. So Florida with their schedule does deserve a shot. Although Florida's lone loss came to Auburn who was #3 and now #11, but Michigan's one loss came against #1 Ohio State, so both teams make a good case. My vote as a Buckeye fan is to let those two teams play, and the winner gets to play OSU, but since that's unrealistic I say Florida.

they should abandon the whole stupid BCS stuff and go to a basketball like tournemet. December madness. That said Michigan is the better team and should play OSU again.

As much as it pains me to say it as an FSU alumn, I've got to go with Florida on this one. Michigan had their chance. Florida has beaten enough ranked teams this year, and had only the one loss to a ranked team, that they've earned a shot at the title. Not that I think they can beat OSU, but they've earned the right to try.

Florida. The Big 10 is weak, so is Michigan, Everyone but the voters and the crooked BCS knows that the SEC is the toughest conference out there. Florida's only lost was to one of the best programs out there for the last several years (AUBURN)!

i think of there could be a playoff, however the bowl coalition will in no way enable it ensue for there is far too plenty funds to be made! Plus, it could be complicated to time table a format all and sundry could believe, thinking the undeniable fact which you have six important conferences whose champions could lay declare to being deserving of a bid each 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, plus maybe the C-u . s . a . champ and at super bids....you might have a playoff it quite is way TOO huge! Granted, it could be a funds maker too, inspite of the undeniable fact that it quite is too complicated for some human beings to make certain that. i might love a sixteen group playoff over a 4 week era as we communicate beginning after the chop up conferences make certain their champions. you might have a familiar season plus playoff which would be now no longer than an NFL familiar season. the only element could be to locate a manner for the bowl equipment to make funds from it and to get the universities to place term assessments the week after Thanksgiving which could be no longer ordinary, for the communities could be in education for playoffs/convention identify video games besides which could be yet another sticking element for a playoff concern. To make it purely 8 communities could artwork, yet with maximum of communities going into the season's bring about a given 3 hundred and sixty 5 days undefeated or purely having one loss could nevertheless bypass away a meriting group out in the chilly!

Florida, because Michigan had their chance. Michigan getting another chance is about like Al Gore trying to get a recount in 2000 until he got the desired outcome he was wanting; Michigan should not get another shot at it.

I think Florida should go to the title game not just because I am a fan but beacuse they have a stronger strength of schedule. I think college football should have the playoff system so we will really know who should go to the title game.

Can't win your conference, you don't deserve to play for the national championship. Simple as that. Go Florida.
