You pursue it.
The teacher's clean record is irrelevant. The facts are no different whether there is a clean or full record.. a big problem in the way people think in society today.
There are other children who may be molested by the same person in the future if you leave it alone. Can you live with that idea? That you could prevent it from happening to others? You should give your story anonymously.
If there is a chance your son is fibbing... 'why would he?' is the question you need to ask yourself.

If the teacher put his hands in a 15 year old's pants I would definitely contact the district attorney's office. Avoid the School Board, they are going to be very cagey to avoid repercussions or a law suit.
If it bothered him enough to tell you about it, then he should pursue it to resolve it.
HOWEVER: If it was just some teacher at the front of the class that simply put his own hands within his own beltline, and didn't go digging, I would let it slide.

If my son felt absolutely sure he didn't want to report the teacher, I would simply ask the school to transfer him out of that teacher's class.
When I was 14, a similar thing happened to me, and all I told the school was that there seemed to be a personal conflict wth me & the teacher, and they transferred me.
You definitely should do something to help him in some way, he should not have to deal with this for the rest of the school year.

Report to the school board The teacher has a 'clean record' because other parents/kids didn't want to pursue it either. Don't wait until some child is irreparably traumatized.

Well if it is true and you dont report it there may be other boys that this teacher is doing the same thing to or worse. Ask your son what he think you should do. for him to tell you in the first place has to mean something. Why would he tell you if he didn't want you to do anything about it?

What do you think I would do???? I wouldn't give a s&&& of how clean or dirty the teachers record was or is. I don't know if I would torch the teacher or drag the teacher behind my car first.
Is this going on in your world??? I would be quick tick at the door of the authorities in the morning.

Whoa!! It doesn't matter what your son wants, its' what he needs
He needs to see this guy get what he deserves. I Would call the police today. Have them come over to the house and tell them exactly what happened. (File a Police report.) 911 will be more than willing to assist in the process of dispatching an Officer to the home.

I am sorry but I would so pursue it nobody touches my son and gets away with it. I would continue until my family got justice from that perv. My son I would make sure that he knows it was not his fault by any means and if we do not bring this ****** down than he will continue doing this to others.

smack the teacher and tell them to keep their hands out of their pants.
that is kind of weird because the only place i have ever seen men putting their hands in their pants on a regular basis was when i worked at a max security prison. where in the world does your kid go to school??????
