i have a 2000 eclipse how do u get the code 4 the anit theft code for the radio to work?

i had got the car used an had it fixed an now i need the code to make the radio work how do u find the code. i was told that u gotta pull the radio out an call it n anyone know?????????????

first get the vin off the driver door jamb. go to the mitsi bushi dealer and they can help you get a clearing code. all of these code systems have a master code, but you will need proof of ownership possibly, for them to reset it for you.good luck. and don't buy exclusive cars. buy common cars that are easy to work on..mitsi buchi's are like owning a corvette. get ready when you have to buy a part for it.hope you got lots of money

Usually you have to remove the radio and get the serial number off of it. Then call your local dealer and they should be able to look it up.
