Does Tv kill the art of Conversation or promote it?

It kills it dead.there will be a day when people are sitting next to each other and instead of talking they are texting.same as the internet.

Kills it.Igrew up with 24/7 TV ,And now no T.V. much better I even get to talk to the kids

If we relied on television to produce conversation, would that not be very sad ? Real people, real conversation, is superior.
