never had a problem going in/out of third before, but fourth used to grind a little going in. I was going to replace the slave eventually. and the clutch was slipping a little going uphill with a full load. now all of a sudden it won't get out of third gear, but the clutch still disengages normally. it's an 81 toyota pickup.

my friend had the same problem with his fiesta, have you tried just starting it and driving it, it will free off instantly but make sure there's nothing in front of you, or have someone try and pull it out as you rock the van forwards and backwards!!
