I think you need to take into account average league positions and other trophies one to find the best team in the premiership. By this reckoning, Blackburn don't cut it, but Liverpool's FA cup, champs league and consistent top 5 finishes force them into the top 4.

Liverpool is the most successful team in English football all time. They have a good side, but seriously sometimes it looks like all the pieces just don't fit.
But I agree Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Chelsea are the strongest sides though sometimes the results don't say so.

this question actually turned out to be more intersting than i taught it would be because the pro liverpool people are saying consistancy in other cups and high finishes should be taken into consideration well if thats the case chelsea havent won much to talk about if ya leave out the last three seasons so i wonder about them as well as liverpool , it all leaves a lot to be talked about maybe the question should be who are the top four teams in the prem at this moment in time and if so it would be
arsenal
man u
chelsea
liverpool

When we say top four we mean teams capable of winning it not a team that won it just once.Teams too capable of winning ChampionsLeague has Blackburn even ever played the Championsleague. So you cannot compare them.
