In the Command Prompt, I typed 'set HOMEPATH=\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\'. When I restarted the Command Prompt, It changed back.

if set in the command prompt it really last only until the next restart. you have to do it in the "Environment Variables".

right click My Computer -> Properties -> Tab Advanced -> Environment Variables. either HOMEPATH already exist or you have to create this as a new variable.

To create a permanent variable

right click on my computer
- select Advanced
- click on Environment Variables
- Click on New under User Variables or System Variables

User Variable will only set when you login
System Variable will set for everyone

Hi!

Make a .bat Batch File.
And run it from autoexec.nt
You can also configure your user to run this script at logon!
