Im taking my family to disney world for christmas. I cant afford to go to everything, but of this list, which ones are the best to attend for adults and for kids?

MGM Studios
Magic Kingdom
Epcot Center
Animal Kingdom
Sea World
Universal Studios
Island Adventure
Water Parks

I heard the Epcot is boring, Sea World is just ok, and it may be to cold for the water parks.

What do you all think?
im going to be there 5 nights, 6 days, checking out on the six'd day, but I guess we still have time to do something.

I think the adults would like to hit pleasure island one night, so what do you think.

I was just told not to buy the hopper because you dont need it and you wont visit more than one park in a day.

So, other than that I guess if its hot we can hit the water parks

Well, if you're going for a Walt Disney World vacation then visit the parks at Walt Disney World - Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, Disney-MGM Studios, EPCOT, and the Magic Kingdom. Anyone who says EPCOT is boring is ridiculous. That's so far from the truth. In fact, I'm only 20, and if I had to choose only one park to visit then EPCOT would be the choice. It has more attractions than most of the other parks, except maybe the Magic Kingdom. The rides are awesome, especially Mission: SPACE, Soarin', and Test Track. I love Spaceship Earth, too! The World Showcase is incredible and there's an awesome selection of restaurants. Le Cellier Steakhouse and the Coral Reef Restaurant are my favorites. The aquarium at the Living Seas is really cool, and you can even take a tour and go swimming/scuba diving in the aquarium tanks with the sharks, sting rays, sea turtles, etc.

If I were you I'd spend one day at each of the four Walt Disney World theme parks and then spend one day at Downtown Disney. There you can do all sorts of shopping, dine, and go to Pleasure Island (there's also DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park, Cirque du Soleil: La Nouba, and more!)

Visit all four of the Disney Parks inclduing EPCOT despite what you've heard. My kids are 7 and 9 and Test Track & Soarin' in EPCOT are their favorite rides in any Orlando Park. They also really enjoy the Maelestrom in the Norway Pavillion of World showcase.

Definitely hit Pleasure Island one evening... preferably early in your trip because you may want to go back. Pleasure Island is my favorite place at Disney World. I love the Adventurers Club, the Comedy Warhouse, and 8-Trax. Kids are allowed in both the Adventurers Club and Comedy Warehouse but none of the other five clubs. If you don't have a sitter take the kids along, my sons and niece had a ball at the Adventurers Club. If you can afford it (I know you said money's tight), go to La Nouba by Cirque d'Soliel. It is a fantastic show.

As for the Park Hopper pass. Save your money. It's a Disney gimick to get you to spend more money. To get the most enjoyment out of your trip, go to one park per day and see all you can while you're there. If you park hop, you spend at least an hour getting from one park to the other whether you go by bus or monorail.

After you exit the park at the end of the day, there is so much more to see around Disney World. Check out some of the hotels in the evening. Especially the Boardwalk area with the ESPN club, Jellyrolls dualing piano bar, and Dance Hall. Like beer? The Big River Brewing Works is a microbrewery with six kinds on tap and they have the best meatloaf in the south. Also check out the Grand Floridian resort and Polynesian resort. They are fun just to walk through and the Polynesian has a nice art gallery as well.

Don't shop in the parks except for at World Showcase in EPCOT. Save your time in the parks for the rides and attractions. Save your shopping for Downtown Disney where they have almost everything for sale they do in any of the parks.

Lastly, get autograph books for your kids for the Disney characters. Although the autograph books are a little cheesy, they give you a chance to take photos of your kids with the characters. If you get a lot of photos, you can put together a nice collage when you get home.

Cheers... Have a great time!

I got to Orlando kind of often.(every 2 years.)
I all ways find sea World and Islands of adventure to be really good. Between the 2 of them they have the best rides for all age groups.
If you like zoo.s then I would say Disney Animal Kingdom.
They have a tree they call the Tree of Life. This alone is a Must see.
The Magic Kingdom Park at least for me is Boring, However they do have some neat things. Also Epcot is also boring to Me.
Disney MGM Studios. is cool. Good for all Ages.
Universal Studio's is cool also. they also have plenty to do for most age groups.
Now about the Park Hopper. If you Buy say a 3 day pass and do only use one day. They never Expire so you can reuse them even 10 years down the road..
Hope this Helps.

I disagree with not buying the park hopper. I was just at DW and hit 3 parks in one day. There were only 3 of us and I was taking the other two on a highlight tour of the "Best of Disney". We started the morning at MGM because it opened an hour earlier than the other parks. We rode Tower of Terror, Rock N Roller Coaster, and Star Tours. Then headed over to the Animal Kingdom, rode the safari, then Everest, had lunch, watched It's Tough to be a Bug, then left for the Magic Kingdom. There we rode most of the rides, but started with the big coasters. Also, had to hit the Tea Cups. We were finished and headed to the airport at 4.
So, if I were you, I would weigh my options carefully. If I were you I would get the park hopper, and go to all 4 Disney parks. Nevermind the water parks. Epcot has several good rides including the BRAND NEW Nemo ride. Turtle Talk with Crush is cool, Mission Space is awesome and so is Soarin'.
I've also been to both Universal parks and like them, they have the best roller coasters i've ever ridden, (Hulk and Dueling Dragons). The problem there is, there's not 5 days of entertainment. With Disney and the park hopper you can spend the day at one park, leave and take a nap, then hit another park in the evening and catch a great night show. By the way, Fantasmic at MGM is the best Night show I've ever seen. It's amazing what they do, but you need to be there at least an hour early!
Hope this helps and good luck! I wish I were going to Disney for Christmas!

The Magic Kingdom is good for little kids. It's got a lot of rides that are not only fun to ride, but look cool too. Personally, I like the caves and mines on Tom Sawyer's Island (at the Magic Kingdom)

Animal Kingdom is also good for little kids. They have a very good bird show and a safari ride.

For teenagers and young adults, I'd recommend Disney/MGM Studios. They have a live Indiana Jones stunt show that is very good. There's also a live stunt show called Lights Motor Action that's also very cool. They also have my favorite ride: The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. It's a pretty wild elevator ride.

Islands of Adventure and Universal are awesome! EPCOT is anything but boring and Sea World is extravagant! Personally the Magic Kingdom is my favorite at Disney. Good luck deciding and have fun!
