What is wrong with redefining the pay structure to reflect the true value of the contribution made by individuals .Food service companies make billions .Clothing and retail outlets make billions and people who work amnd manage these places earn far more then the people building the homes offices and structures that seem to make others millions over time .
The work is not paid and rewarded in a fair and proper manner .
If stacking bricks payed the same as sitting in an office , would people really stack bricks or still sit in an office . I think many people do what they do for money and the office workers use to be the family and idiot cousins and such who where unable to work .
Now those jobs pay more then the workers because we came from a class society that frowned on working and rewarded those who produced the most with the least .
I expect that if you like standing in lines waiting for free food then go right ahead . ON me I will pay $2.00 for my hamburger so you can have yours for free .
I will not wait in line for it ..

Eventually those at the "free" lunch table outnumber those paying the bill.
When the payers run out of money, then they sit down and wait for their free lunch, but there is no one left to pay for it, and everyone goes hungry.
Sorry to bring the bad news.

Are you talking about the $30 billion in tax cuts given to oil companies during a period of record profits or maybe the other $400 billion given to other corporations, or maybe the billions given to drug companies because we will not demand a discount when the US buys in bulk for the prescription drug plan, or maybe you mean giving up patents to companies for products that were developed with government money, or were you referring to guaranteed loans given by banks that that no risk but receive a guaranteed profit, or maybe you refer to no bid contracts that give companies an incentive to inflate costs because the contract is a cost plus 20%. Are you talking about the hundreds of billions of dollars given to companies and corporations, hundreds of billions more than is spent on welfare for people? IS this the free ride, the corperations free lunch?

I paid more in income tax this year than you will probably earn in your entire life. How is that fair? And you use govt services to a far greater extent than I do. I am punished for being successful and you are rewarded for being a loser.

Nothing if you do not have the means to feed yourself or do so in a manner that is befitting a grand nation such as the United States of America.
