Nothing wrong with being a Cynic - its a fine old Athenian tradition, so too is being a Hypocrite, a Sceptic or a Critic.
Being a teenager in the 1950s was bad enough.. Today it must be worse than hell.
I wish them all well. Growing up is pure murder.
When you get to my age, 65, its even worse, young women, not old enough to be my daughter want to give me their seats on the bus for gosh sakes.
I ain't dead yet and when I do grow up I am going to be an engine driver.

it takes time to see that you are hypocritical as a child, because you have nothing to judge it against. being cynical is very healthy, and if more of my parents generation were cynical maybe they wouldnt keep electing the same fools to rule us
