My mom used to do this and I really think it works. The colour of gold is yellow so why not put it in the substance that givs us that colour naturally. I first wash my jewellery with mild shampoo and soak it for 10-15 mins. in turmeric water. It sure gives a lovely yellow glow.

Dip the ornaments in tamarind juice and gently clean them with a soft brush (even a toothbrush will do), wipe with a soft clean cotton cloth and leave them to dry. They shine as new ornaments. Its cheap and doesnot require much time.

just dip them in the surf(cleaning detergent) hot water for 30mins n then wash them with normal water. u wil see them shining n if u want u can jst rub them gently wit brush 2 make them more clean

Zinc oxide: treat them with it. oven even wash them with a brush to avoid atomic loss

i say use alochol to clean them or jewlery cleaner!!!!
