Yes you can still get pregnant. It may take a little while for your body to readjust, but you can still get pregnant.

Yes, you can still get pregnant. I had the same experience when I stopped birth control - the tender breasts, missed period, mood swings, metalic taste in mouth etc. I felt like I really was pregnant, but I'm not....so, I think it was the hormones returning in my body mocking signs of pregnancy. I have been off birth control now for over two mnoths and my body has just kind of returned to normal. Good luck. The best answer is a home pregnancy test or a blood test at your doctor's office!

my last period was oct. 27 and i stopped taking my pills when that pack was done, now i am 3 weeks pregnant and my period was suppose to be on the 25 of nov. it never came and thats when i took the test. surprise surprise, im pregnant! so, yes you cant get pregnant right away after stopping the pill. every doctor is different, but some doctors say you can be even more fertile right after you have quit the pill, some women have a regular cycle for a few more months after quitting and some women have an extremely irregular period right after. good luck!

Yes! You can get pregnant. I was on birth control for many years and stopped to give my body a break from all the hormones. About 2 months later, I got pregnant and miscarried. The ob/gyn told me that birth control can in essence "prepare" your body for pregnancy. I don't know how true it is, but I wouldn't recommend going without contraception if you are of fertile age.

Oh yes you can. I'm in the same boat as you now. I was on Yasmin for acne and about two months ago stopped taking the pill to try another acne medication. I have yet to start my period, but my dermatologist made it very clear I can get pregnant even after only missing one pill!
