Christmas is a holiday in the Christian world. The people celebrate (enjoy remembering) the birth of the child Jesus. His mother was a virgin (she did not have a husband and was pure) when she got pregnant. The Holy Spirit who is God, made her pregnant. So she had a boy who has Mary as the Mother and God as the Father This is not a common thing to happen. It made Jesus very special.
Jesus is worshipped (thought very highly of, and adored) by all the Christians in the world.
A tradition (something done time after time) is that people give each other presents at Christmas. This helps them remember that God gave His son to the world, as the Saviour (a person who helps and saves) of all men and women who would choose to believe this good story.
Will that do? Hope so! I believe the story and I am a Christian.

Tell about the history of Christmas. It's easy! Go to www.wikipedia.com and type in Christmas. Talk about the history of santa and reindeer and all the holiday things.
